Chose this hotel equally user-friendly to the DC metro (returning invitee from years agone). Simple 1950's or '60's era rooms, but nice cost for DC surface area hotel. Breakfast is just as simple: bagels, or bagels, just room has micro/refrigerator which is a great help if yous want to stock more for breakfast. A couple hiccups institute later on checking in, Boob tube remotes didn't work, and tried to turn on a lamp, merely a light bulb was missing. Nevertheless, these were chop-chop taken care of. Correct on the highway, so traffic racket all dark, merely not excessive. I'll be staying here next fourth dimension I'm in the area.

This was our 2nd stay at this little motel. It may not be the newest, or the quietest (just that'southward from street noise, not noisy guests). We chose this motel for our trips into DC. It is just 3/4 of a mile from the Metro train organisation. Super convenient for travelling into DC and the Smithsonian Museums. Several eating place choices on the same street including a buffet within walking distance. Nonetheless, the best feature is the staff here. Every desk clerk and maid we dealt with were friendly and helpful. At i indicate, the desk clerk offered to make an entire pot of coffee so my wife could take a late-nighttime cup. A very nice stay.

I was really happy with the service and staff, southern hospitality. I had bed bugs but they are mutual in hotels of this type. I told the staff and they moved me to another romm for my last night. I would stay there once again. The price was right.

I selected this facility considering of the free Metro shuttle service which I required because of difficulty walking. When I arrived, the shuttle is one direction simply and available but later 8:30 AM. This meant extensive walking and meaning inflammation and hurting for me. I would advise they edit the website to be more accurate with regards to the Metro shuttle service.
